Final Critique Studio Brief 2 OUGD505

For the final critI think that I had quite a bit to show, I had worked on it for the past few days in order to gain some sort of feedback, I needed it printed as I learnt from previous crits that having material printed is better as people can see it better and they can pick up on good things and bad things such as spelling mistakes, grammar etc. I also made a board for the crit explaining my logo, colour choices and typography so that people would know a little bit more behind the work , and I also had my printed brief that specified the concept and the audience.

Before the crit we wrote out a few questions we would like to have answered.

The main questions I wanted answering was which invite design did people prefer, I think that I wanted this answering because I wanted more opinions and I and looked at the two for too long and so I couldn't choose.

I also wanted to know whether what I had designed was appropriate for the audience, I felt that it was but I wanted to know that I wasn't wrong as it is my personal opinion.

I was happy with the feedback it made me feel more positive about what I was doing.

The most helpful was from a tutor who told me that the gapping in some of my paragraphs looks odd and I needed to sort it at first I was a little reluctant, but I decided to change the type to left aligned, which did look better once I had changed everything else.

I also from the crit thought of some things that I had missed such as putting the science museum  logo onto the invite and its packaging. And I therefore corrected this and changed my design this made the design more viable.

As well as this I gained feedback on which invite to select and therefore I chose which one to use (right aligned)
